nadaLokal ist experimenteller Kunstraum. nadaLokal ist kein Ort der Repräsentation und verfolgt keine kommerziellen Interessen. nadaLokal ist ein freier Ausstellungs- und Projektraum, Ort für zeitgenössische Kunst. nadaLokal ist Schnittstelle zwischen künstlerischem Experiment und Öffentlichkeit sowie Forum für lokale und internationale KünstlerInnen. nadaLokal ist Arbeits- und Möglichkeitsraum abseits der institutionalisierten Produktionsstätten.
nadaLokal wurde 2009 von Amanda Piña und Daniel Zimmermann gegründet und wird betrieben als Verein fuer Kunst in Bewegung mit Sitz in Wien. Verantwortlich: Amanda Piña und Daniel Zimmermann. nadaLokal kooperiert mit nadaproductions und dem unabhängigen Kunstraum lokal-int.ch in der Schweiz und wird unterstützt/gefördert von Wien Kultur und Rudolfsheim Fünfhaus.


A M A N D A  P I Ñ A
was born in Chile Is a Mexican-Chilean-Austrian artist and cultural worker living between Vienna and Mexico City. Her work is concerned with the decolonisation of art, focusing on the political and social power of movement. Her works are contemporary rituals for temporary dismantling the ideological separations between modern and traditional, the human, the animal and the vegetal, nature and culture. Amanda Piña is interested in making art beyond the idea of a product and in developing new frameworks for the creation of sensual experiences. Her pieces have been presented in renown art institutions such as Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain, Paris, MUMOK Museum of Modern Art, TQW and ImpulsTanz Festival, in Vienna. D A N I E L  Z I M M E R M A N N
is a visual artist, dramaturge and director. Originally trained as a wood sculptor, he now works with film, installation and performance. He has realised art projects in museums, project spaces as well as in public space on an international scale. His work also includes short films which were shown at numerous well-known festivals, among others at the Berlinale 2011 and the International Film Festival Rotterdam. He has won various prizes for his films and art projects and received numerous scholarships for his work. Since 2005 Zimmermann works with the choreographer Amanda Piña with whom he founded the label nadaproductions. Together they opened the art and performance space nadalokal in Vienna in 2009.
