Ausstellung: QuarzDas Problem der Zeit zu lösen, wird mir nicht gelingen.
Rosa John hat Theater-, Film und Medienwissenschaft in Wien und Athen studiert sowie künstlerische Photographie und unabhängigen Film bei Friedl Kubelka. Aktuell arbeitet sie sowohl wissenschaftlich als auch künstlerisch zu Materialität und Geschichte von Einzel- und Bewegtbild.

Performance: now is the future„In 2008 I was asked by the young curating team of Tanzquartier Wien to find a possible answer to the question: „What will I dance/perform in 20 years?“. 3 years passed by. It seems like 10, but also somehow like 1 month. It seems like a lot has happened, but at the same time not really. How much do we stay the same while the times are-a-changing? (Or are the times changing us?) During the performance in nadalokal I will face the same question I faced 3 years ago. I will be in disscusion with myself then and with my imaginary self in 17 years. What is time doing? When we grow older do we stay the same, how much do we change or maybe only our bodies are changing? Can we sense ourselves changing?“

Ewa Bankowska ist Choreographin, Tänzerin und Performerin in Wien und Salzburg. Sie absolvierte ihre Ausbildung an der Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance und an der Universität Łódź. Zu ihren letzten Produktionen gehören „dancing to songs“ (Imagetanz 2009) und „how to touch the audience?“ (Arge Salzburg 2009). Zusammenarbeit mit nadaproductions („THEM“, „IT“, „teatro“) , Kabinett Ad Co./Paul Wenninger, Georg Blaschke, Begüm Erciyas, Rotraud Kern, Gabri M. Einsiedl und Zoë Knights , u. a. /
